The carpet was definitely filled with a whole lot of glamorous looks, but we really missed Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, it would've been amazing to have been able to see what they would've worn, but the ladies had to do what they had to do. On the other hand, the carpet was still fantastic and the celebs who were there, most definitely brought their A-game to music's biggest night.

Ciara wowed in a Emilio Pucci gown.

Kasey is wearing a Armani Prive dress and David Yurman jewelry.

Pink is wearing Johanna Johnson dress, Neil Lane vintage jewels, Brian Atwood shoes and Rauwolf clutch.

The first big awards show of 2014 and our actresses knew that they had to set the bar for this year, oh and did they.
The 2014 annual Golden Globes Awards was nothing short of glamorous, gorgeous and glitzy. The red carpet was swarmed with breathtaking designer gowns and although there were numerous ensembles which was beautiful, there are only 10 stars who made the list of best dressed at the Golden Globes.

Taylor Swift looked flawless in a strapless Carolina Herrera gown, keeping the accessories also simple with some pretty Loraine Schwartz jewelry, Jimmy Choo clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.
9. Reese Witherspoon
The simplicity of this outfit really works here for Reese Witherspoon. This is actually a custom designed gown by Calvin Klein and the emerald color of this dress works really well with her Blonde bob. She also kept the accessories on the low-down wearing some Harry Winston jewels.
8. Zoe Saldana
Not just any celeb would've made the list wearing this dress by Prabal Gurung, but no one can pull it off as good as Zoe Saldana.
7. Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington showed us that just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean you cannot make the best dressed list. And although this dress looks like a creamy color, it is actually pale green, silky dress by Balenciaga. Here shoes are from Casadei and she's wearing Fred Leighton jewels.
6. Amy Adams
The Golden Globe winner, Amy Adams, stunned in a simple red and ruby, silk chiffon gown by Valentino. She really looked so chic and glamorous pairing this dress with Loraine Schwartz jewelry, the color of the dress worked with her skin tone and the deep plunging neckline worked so well for her small bust.

A perfect look for a golden girl, isn't it? Cate Blanchett looked absolutely radiant and glamorous in her lace and tulle gown from Armani Prive. She walked away with the 'best actress' award. Her appearance reflected that of a winner.
3. Lizzy Caplan
This dress by Emilio Pucci, has some serious hardware, gorgeous because the color of the dress is black, which leaves emphasis to the arms and chest area. She also paired it with a simple metallic clutch. She knocked it out of the park with her makeup, not too much, or else the outfit would've failed. Well done Lizzy. 2. Margot Robbie
This silk crepe dress by Gucci, is a perfect combination of elegance and sexy with a high slit and plunging neckline. The 'wolf of wall street' star stood out in this dress which was embroidered with crystals and emerald appliques which matched her emerald shoes. 10/10 for this look.

The red cape dress...that's what I will always call this dress by Ralph Lauren. Can you believe that wearing a cape on the red carpet would land you the number one spot on the best dressed list? She knocked it out of the park with this red silk gown with minimal accessories. This is an actress to look out for on the carpet.
